About
About How to Order Starlink
A single-purpose site: walking first-time US buyers through a Starlink order on starlink.com, one step after another.
An independent US publisher
How to Order Starlink is published independently in the US. SpaceX and Starlink have no part in it: no affiliation, endorsement or sponsorship. It doesn’t sell Starlink hardware or service either. Articles are credited to How to Order Starlink as a publication.
What the walkthrough covers
The order from start to finish: what to have ready, whether the referral credit applies to you, the address, plan and kit screens, the order summary and the “Referral Code Applied” panel, then delivery, activation and the first invoices. The checklists, the fit check and the date tool run in your browser. None of them asks where you live, or for a ZIP code, email or phone number, and they keep nothing.
Sourcing, and the dates on each page
Each rule, price and date on the site comes from Starlink’s own US referral terms, terms of service, help center articles or order pages. Every page lists those sources with the day we last read each one; the most recent full read was Nov 3, 2026. Screenshots carry the day they were captured. Where Starlink is silent, as on rented kits, the page says “not confirmed” rather than guessing. Things we worked out ourselves, such as how starlink.com holds the referral in one tab, are labelled “our reading” with their date.
How the site earns
Through one thing only: the order buttons carry this site owner’s Starlink referral link, and a disclosure sits next to each one. If a qualifying first-time customer orders through it, Starlink rewards both that customer and the owner. How we earn has the details.
Corrections
When Starlink changes a page we cite, or we find a mistake, we re-read the source, fix the page and move its “Page updated” date. The source list at the foot of each page shows when every source was last checked, so a stale fact is easy to spot.
What it won’t do
- Promise the reward: Starlink alone decides.
- Call the referral a discount, a coupon or a promo code.
- Place an order for you, check an address for you, or ask for your details.
- Nudge anyone who should hold off: past Starlink customers, seasonal users, short-term needs.
